NOURISH COMMUNITY FOOD BANK
A plea to get behind Nourish Community Foodbank this summer
Food poverty is often a hidden issue and, with rising fuel bills, grocery costs and inflation, the issue has escalated. Many Nourish clients are hard working families, in fact 75% of children who grow up in poverty are living in a household where at least one person works(2).
Every summer Nourish sees a rise in referrals where families are trying to juggle covering holiday childcare, not being able to work their usual hours and often having to pay for extra meals rather than having them free from school.
Can we as a village all buy one tin, one packet maybe one pasta sauce and deliver to the church All Saints Church - Langton Green
Where we have a collection point
Get the whole family involved and let’s help families who need support this summer

ABOUT YOUR CHURCH
We are extremely fortunate to have a beautiful and cherished church building in an excellent state of repair and built (by Chambers of Penshurst) in 1863 in a version of the Early English Style, considered at the time of the Gothic Revival to be the only truly Christian style. It was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert-Scott, the celebrated Victorian architect.
CHILDREN AND FAMILY
Children are welcome in everything we do. Please allow them to be children - we really don't mind a little noise.
Chocolate Church runs twice per month and Chocolate Choir runs on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 9am.
YOU CAN JOIN IN
We hope to be a place that people can come to be nurtured in spirit and soul and offer a number of activities and groups throughout the week. Do come and say hello!
