Thy Kingdom Come

After Jesus had left them for the last time (ascension) the disciples stayed in Jerusalem praying for the Holy Spirit to come. 11 days later it blew them away on the day of Pentecost. Churches across the nation are joining in with 11 days of prayer for the spirit to come and God’s Kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven. Please use these 10 days to pop into church for 10 minutes (or more!) to pray ‘thy kingdom come’. There will be prayer stations around the church to provide a focus for your prayers. Like the first disciples, our reliance on the gift of the Holy Spirit is total – on our own we can do nothing.
